Winners are grinners! The Indooroopilly Gold 1 Pennant team (pictured) includes Yvonne Geis, Lyndal Plant (c), Philly Taylor, Jane MacDonnell, Issy Simpson and Jo Atkin. The team played their first match at McLeod last Friday and had a excellent win, defeating the home side McLeod 3.5 to 1.5. Well played ladies and best of luck for two in a row this week.
The Indooroopilly Gold 2 Pennant team (pictured) includes Sue-Ellen Hopkins (c), Zoyrese Conoplia, Felicity Seeto, Jan Gardiner and Marie Phillips. The team were unlucky to lose at McLeod against Royal Queensland’s No. 1 team 1.5 to 3.5 with all matches hard fought in very blustery conditions compliments of Cyclone Oma. Onwards and upwards though, and we wish them great success this coming Friday.
