Shoot your Age
We acknowledge and salute IGC members who join the “shoot your age” club!
Subject to the conditions set out below, any IGC member who shoots equal to or lower than their age (from 1st January 2018 onwards) will be added to the IGC “Shoot Your Age” register.
- Must be current paid-up member of IGC on the day
- Based on the member’s age on the day
- Only applies to single or aggregate fourball competition rounds played at IGC (stroke, stableford or versus par). Rounds played at other courses do not count.
- Must record a score for every hole, based on Golf Link approved score
It is possible that some day we will have a low handicap older member for whom shooting their age may be a routine occurrence. It is more likely that for those very few members who shoot their age it will be a rare occurrence and each occurrence should be acknowledged and celebrated.
